American startup 1X has unveiled NEO Gamma, a next-generation humanoid robot with impressive new capabilities.

• Natural Movement: NEO can now walk with a human-like gait, swing its arms naturally, squat to pick up objects, and even sit in chairs.
• Advanced Object Handling: Thanks to a new visual manipulation model, it can pick up a wide range of objects in different environments, even those it wasn’t specifically trained for.
• Smart AI & Conversation: NEO features an in-house large language model (LLM) that allows for natural conversations and body language, with a “companion feature” for voice interaction.
